It’s really mystifying that a series of tragedy is happening to our planet nowadays. Storms, tornadoes, hurricanes, flash floods, landslides, avalanches, earthquakes and tsunamis are some disasters occurring in different parts of the earth…
It was summer in the Philippines when the Ebola virus a.k.a. A(H1N1) scared too many people around the world as it killed hundreds.
Manila, Philippines – It was crack of dawn of August 22, 2009 when Tropical Storm “Kiko” hit the said place and displayed its fury. Everyone was in shock because it left the city flooded. A month after, September 26, 2009, Tropical Storm “Ondoy” rapped the city and other areas in Luzon leaving hundreds of casualties and making the places almost erased in the map. Until now, affected Filipinos are trying to survive. Another tropical storm, “Pepeng”, is heading Luzon and many of us are praying to make it either dissolved or change direction.
On the other hand, American Samoa, a state of America, and suburbs experienced a tsunami yesterday, September 30, which also killed hundreds of people.
Indonesia experienced two earthquakes this September 30 and October 1 leaving more than 500 fatalities.
A series of calamity, but only God knows if there’s more. He wants to tell something to us. Do we know it already? Maybe. It’s just that we don’t want to ANALYZE, UNDERSTAND, and MAKE STEPS.
Self-discipline is needed.
