It’s been two weeks already since I signed up here. The primary reason why I registered here is because of an article I have read on our English workbook – an open letter to our leaders written by Bong Austero – he is the reason why I am typing an entry for my blog now in front of PC in a computer shop. He is the one I ‘blame’ for all of these things. I like what he had written there – the thing he was pointing out, there is also a word in that article I can’t forget and I used to say in my mind although, it has nothing to do with me – the word flabbergasted (I wonder why I didn’t find this word in the New Handy Webster Dictionary of my mother but I found it in my Longman Dictionary). Austero’s article influenced me to make a page like his.
Another reason is that I practise myself in constructing correct English grammar (actually, I am an advocate of Philippine Linguistics which aims to feed Filipinos minds to use correct tagalog words to construct correct tagalog grammar) in preparation to the course I will be taking up after my high school (AB Mass Communication; BSE major in English).
