Our school, AUPC, held its annual Intramurals started last January 27, 2009 (Tuesday). The program started with the cheerers who performed for the players.
Before the Intrams, I tried to be one of the players but not in basketball, badminton, or table tennis. I joined the very first time game they have included – the CHESS! But unfortunately, I was not able to represent the SENIORS because I failed to win during the try-out.
The games played by the players were so hot, thrilling, and exciting especially the basketball exhibition game between the SENIORS and the FRESHMEN.
The awarding for the winners was announced and done today after the championship games. While the players were having their picture takings, while I walk towards them, I felt jealous; I thought that I should have been there.
Actually, during the basketball games of SENIORS, while I watch and pray for them to win, I imagined myself inside the court playing the game and audience clap for me, but that was all imagination and I can’t do anything to make it real unless I pursue my sports abilities. I think, I am afraid…. I am afraid that people would laugh at me, I am afraid to be hurt, I am afraid to be a loser.
Anyways, going back to the Intrams, generally, all I can say is that was good. Ms Criselda Crisostomo really did a great job! High five! Thumbs up!
